What we collect

Each time you capture something, we save the photo, the species name, where you were standing, the time, a tamper-evident stamp so the record can be trusted, and your device and app version. The location comes from your phone's GPS the moment you tap. We read it live; we don't dig it out of the photo file. We also note how accurate that reading was.

About you, we keep almost nothing. A random ID that isn't your name. A display name, if you add one. An email, only if you want your dividend share later. We don't know who you are in real life, we don't touch your contacts, and we never follow your location in the background.

How we use it

To make the app work: naming species, saving your Codex, ticking the shared counter. To keep the data clean, through moderation. And, only if you've okayed commercial use, to license consented photos to buyers. That revenue funds the rewards. It isn't a guaranteed payment to you.

What we never do

We don't sell your movements. A trail of where you've been is not for sale, full stop. We don't tuck personal details into web links. And for rare or at-risk species, we blur or drop the location anywhere it's shared or sold, so nobody can use EVERWILD to track them down.

Your rights

Want out? "Delete my data" pulls your consent, takes your captures off the market, and deletes your stored photos. Email us and we'll do the same.

Where it lives

Your data sits in a locked-down database and private storage. The keys that reach it stay on our servers, never in the app on your phone.
